 INSTALLING ORACLE AND SUPPLY 2000 VERSION4.0
Please carefully read these Loading Instructions for Version 4.0 of S2K and Oracle Dev6i. 1. Make sure the PC is not logged into Supply or IFS. Make sure the Report Server for Supply 2000 is not running. 2. Make sure SCP 15-00 has been loaded for IFS and S2K 3. Place the S2K CD in the CD Drive of the Client PC. PART A. Oracle Runtime Load. O1. Click on ‘Start’ at the bottom left of the screen. O2. Click on ‘Run’ 
O3. Click on ‘Browse’ 
O4. Select your CD Drive [in this example it is Supply2000 (F:)] 
O5. Click on ‘Disk1’ and then click on ‘Open’ 
O6. Click on ‘Setup.exe’ and then click on ‘Open’ 
O7. Now the Run window should have your CD Drive letter and ‘Disk1\Setup.exe’ 
O8. Next click ‘OK’ O9. A prompt, ‘ Would you like to install Oracle Products?’ will appear. Click ‘YES’ O10. A window prompt, Launch: X:\oracle\product\install\orainst.exe will appear. Click ‘OK’ O11. A window prompt, ‘options: /prd X:\oracle\product\install\….. will appear. Click ‘OK’ O12. The Oracle Installation Settings window should appear similar to this: NOTE: Do Not use ORAIFS as the ORACLE Home for Supply 2000.
O13. Set the Oracle Home Name: DEFAULT_HOME. If the Oracle Home Location is c:\orawin95 or c:\orant, then click ‘OK’. If not, then click in the Company Name field, then click back in Oracle Home Name field and the Location should be reset to c:\orant or c:\orawin95. If so, click ‘OK’. O14. The General Information will appear. Click ‘OK’ O15. The System Support Files window should appear. Click ‘OK’ O16. When the ‘Installation Successful’ window appears, click ‘OK’ O17. The Oracle Runtime Patches will now be loaded. The steps O12-O16 will be REPEATED for the Oracle Patches to load. When these steps finish, close all the open Oracle Windows.
