SELF HELP MODULE IN SUPPLY 2000
The Self Help Module of Supply 2000 is used to manage a Self Help Store, U-DO-IT Center or Self Help Issue Point (SHIP Store). The primary users of the Self Help Module will the operators of the Self Help Store. The Customers using the store must have a record established prior to being issued or loaned any items. By selecting the menu option ‘Self Help Customer’, the Customer Information screen will be opened. 
Moving Items to the Self Help Store
Retrieve the stock item you are moving and when the 'Chg Type/OH' button in the Bottom right area of the screen is clicked, the pop-up window below will appear to allow moving items between Locations to include the ‘U’ and ‘L’ type for Self Help. After you have move the quantities, click on the ‘CHANGE OH/LOC TYPE’ button to return to the main window and save the changes to the database.
For example, the 33 of the quantity in the 'P' type location was moved to the 'U' type location for issue from the Self Help Store. Please note the definition block to determine location types.
Property Book Loan Items
Use the PB Self Help Item screen to add loan items that are accounted for in the property book system. The PB Items entered in Self Help will have a ‘Stockage Code’ of ‘P’ and not be included in the Stock Record Account reports of inventory. Property Book Items must have a Location type ‘L’ because they can only be loaned, never issued.
Only Property Book Items can be entered or queried from this screen. These are PB Items that are hand-receipted to the Self Help Store for loaning to Self Help Store Customers.
